Managing Director, Mark Thole, grew up around computers - starting with a Radio Shack TRS-80 and cassette tape drive for storage! Combining that early familiarity with a degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Mark's unique experience over 25 years of writing code, managing projects, programs, portfolios and products and working with some of the largest companies in the world enables him to now share that experience with you.

Mark's Story

Mark is an experienced "4P" Manager (project, program, portfolio and product) with a career spanning nearly three decades in the technology and project management fields. His 4P journey began unexpectedly when he was asked to take over a failing project, despite having no formal training in project management. This pivotal moment led him to discover his passion for the field. Over the years, Mark has worked with many organizations, including Accenture, Technology Solutions Company, Gensler and Organic Valley.  Throughout these companies Mark held multiple roles including: full-stack developer, project manager, product manager/owner, scrum master, program manager, and studio director. His expertise lies in managing complex projects, developing innovative solutions, and leading teams to success.

Mark's career is marked by significant achievements, including the development of custom applications for automotive giants like Nissan, Toyota and GM, and the creation of a configurable program management SaaS application at Gensler. His ability to adapt to changing environments and his dedication to continuous learning have been key to his success. Recently, Mark served as the Director of Program and Project Management Office at Organic Valley, where he played a crucial role in the successful greenfield RISE implementation of SAP’s S/4 HANA, IBP and SAC products. Currently, Mark serves as the Managing Director of MP4 LLC.

His story is one of resilience, adaptability, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in the field of project management.
